Why is Spawtz.com showing up on my credit card statement?

Spawtz.com provides event registration software to companies in the UK, South Africa, India and Australia. As part of that registration software, we often take payments from entrants on behalf of the companies who run the events. In these instances, "Spawtz.com" may show up on your credit card instead of the name of the event or of the company running the event.

The following are some events that are currently running or have been run recently for which we handled the online registrations:

• The Discovery Cape Times Big Walk (www.bigwalk.co.za)
• The Discovery East Coast Radio Big Walk (bigwalk.ecr.co.za)

If you registered and paid for any of these events online you will see Spawtz.com appearing on your card statement for your registration fee.

We also often handle online payments on behalf of our sports league and venue customers as well, so if you are a customer of one of the companies listed in our clients section and have made an online payment to them, again, Spawtz.com may show up on your card statement instead of the company you were expecting.
